An acorn is a silent promise to the future. Year after year, it finds its way to the earth with trust, knowing that time shifts, but roots endure.

In this installation, hundreds of sprouted acorns follow the flow of the space, growing together—silent yet determined. Each one carries a possibility—a tree, a forest, a future that will outlast us all. Oak trees are known to be vast- they do not stand alone; they are connected, listening, sharing life with one another.

“Baloot ” is an offering of hope—an invitation to listen, to nurture, to believe in what we cannot yet see. All Sprouted oaks are nourished and will be planted in the next 2 years as part of the work.
